Shopping Carts

E-commerce sites use the concept of a shopping cart for user data, such as items to be purchased. The image of the shopping cart with two wheels has in fact become the de-facto standard. It is used on the majority of e-commerce sites that use a Web icon to signify access to this type of functionality. Occasionally a site will use a bag, or in the case of some nurseries a wheelbarrow or wagon. When clicked this Web icon will either 1) add an item or 2) allow user to enter to enter the "shopping cart" section of the site to review what is being stored.
